This course builds on the topics presented in Videography I. Students will design, develop and produce video for the web using an industry standard video production software. In addition, students will create video for interactive media. Students who complete this course will be able to self-assess their interest and aptitude for further study in this career path.
General Course Goals:
- Develop reading, writing, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills related to videography
- Plan and schedule a video project using industry-standard pre-production procedures
- Implement correct and safe site preparation and set-up procedures
- Operate advanced digital video camera equipment to produce video footage at industry-standard quality
- Use advanced video production software for pre-editing, editing, and post-editing procedures resulting in completed video production
- Work effectively in a video production team to plan, produce, critique, and distribute video projects
- Use technical vocabulary appropriate to production procedures, client interactions, and interviews.
